There is nothing like Sunday morning alone time. Waking up to the merry sounds of the birds at your window. With my children and husband still sleeping peacefully, I tip toe in my comfy socks to the kitchen where I start the coffee pot. Waiting patiently for the drip to finish. Alas, I cannot wait any longer. I hurry my cup into position where the pot once was to catch what still drips whilst pouring the rest from the pot. Again, tip toeing to the livingroom to enjoy the last few minutes of peace and quiet with my favorite book, The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory. Rex, my cat, joiniung me on my lap.
Never escaping life too long, my visit to England is no more as I am brought back to reality by my child's joyful hug and "morning mom." I smile down as I put my book aside and ready myself for breakfast as the other children are soon to follow along with my husband.
I wait eagerly for my return to England next Sunday.
